Ok so my family decided they will not pick me up from LAX. I will have two little ones, two car seats, one stroller, one carry-on, one suitcase, and a purse to get to the Doubletree Suites. What is the easiest way to get there? Money is not a problem, my dad is at least going to pay for that. He said get a limo but that's not my style. I do not want to rent a car I'm a nervous driver as it is. Can you request a lady driver?

TIA

Monica

Easiest would probably be a cab. YOu could request a lady driver, but it probably wouldnt be worth the wait. There are not a ton of lady cab drivers. If you feel uncomfortable being alone with a male cab driver, then I would use a shuttle company like Super Shuttle. It will take a little longer, because they will be stopping at other hotels and maybe private residence. But, you'll have other people with you for most of the trip, if not all of it (if you are dropped off first).

If your Dad is paying for it, take the limo. You don't need to get a big limo, a town car would work, but it will make things as easy as possible for you, plus you would be able to specify a female driver if availible.

I agree if money is not an option then take a limo. THey assist you with everything so you would not have as much to worry about.

I went to WDW a few years ago alone with DS6 at the time & DD5 at the time. Since they were so young I knew I would be bogged down with too much stuff and not enough arms to hold both kids and get my luggage off the carousel at the airport...much less push it around. Here is what ended up happening.

Luckily, in advance of our trip, my nervousness got the better of me & I began to research Car Services with Lincoln Town cars (cabbies can be unpredictable). WDW has many sites with recommended car services so I went with one linked to Mousesavers. I had reservations so I knew exactly what it would cost BEFORE I got there.

The flight went ok but I was a little overwhelmed. I can't tell you how thrilled I was to see my driver waiting for me with a little sign with my name on it. :sunny: The driver took all my carry-on bags and ushered me, DS & DD to a bench nearby while I pointed to and he fished out my luggage and loaded everything into the air conditioned car.

Like you, I'm not usually into being showy but I was sooooooooo worn out from the stress of the whole flight experience  pirate: princess: that the extra help was priceless. My family & my stuff all got to WDW safely. In my opinion, the help was worth every single dime and I'd do the same again in a heartbeat.
