I NEED TO KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO GET FROM M.KINGDOM TO PORT N.O. I THINK THERE IS ONLY BUS SERVICE. WE ARE PLANNING ON GOING BACK TO TAKE A NAP DURING THE DAY AND GO BACK FOR THE P&P PARTY IN THE EVENING.

You should always allow 45-60 minutes from door to door using WDW transportation.

We've been there in June 06 and July 05. Could be 20 min, could be 60. Always give yourself 60 min.

Buses run about every 20 minutes. So let's say you just missed one and have to wait 20 minutes for the next bus. Then the ride itself won't be longer than 15 minutes, so I'd say plan on it being no longer than 40 minutes. But then again, it will be 5-10 minutes longer if there is someone boarding in a wheelchair or ECV (scooter).

Two things: There's no such place as Port N.O. There's Port Orleans Riverside (POR) and Port Orleans French Quarter (POFQ). And NO, I'm not being nitpicky. At the Magic Kingdom bus area after 3:00 p.m., there are separate buses heading back to each of those 2 resorts; you'll really need to know which bus stop to go to! I had a lady get really mad at me once ... I was in the POFQ bus line, which was right next door to the POR bus line. She asked me if I was in the "Port Orleans" bus line. I said I was in the Port Orleans French Quarter line and next door was the the Port Orleans Riverside line. She got indignant and said she was staying at "just Port Orleans," and thought I was trying to confuse her. I hope she found her way back to her room.

Also, just as a matter of courtesy, let me gently advise you that typing in ALL CAPS on a message board is equivalent to shouting (and it's also tougher to read). I'm sure you had no idea and didn't mean it in that way, but I just thought I'd save you trouble down the lne by clueing you in to this at this point.
