Transportation to the Princess Half

Hello Everyone! I have been training for about five months now for the 2012 Princess Half. It is going well and I am so excited for race day. This morning, I booked our stay with DVC at Bay Lake Tower. My question is, how do I get to the race from BLT? It is not a host resort. Will the monorail be open that early in the morning? Since the Poly is a host resort, can I walk there and take a race bus to Epcot from the Poly? My husband and I are going to WDW for five nights for the race and to celebrate our 10th annivarsary and would rather not deal with the hassle of renting a car, if possible. Any advise?

Short story.....no. Assuming 2012 retains the same resorts, the Poly is the official monorail resort and it uses the TTC - Epcot loop race morning. Best bet is to hail a cab to the TTC then ride the rail in.

Thanks for the info! So if I can get to TTC, do I ride a bus to the start or the monorail? Will they check if I am a Poly guest or is this standard practice for those staying at CR and GF?
