Staying onsite, at RPR, I know there are water taxis that go to Citywalk. Correct? Is there any way to get directly to the park, and also, is anything within walking distance? What takes the less time?

Everything is within walking distance. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from RPR to Islands of Adventure and about 15 to walk from RPR to Universal Studios.

we very seldom use the water taxi, unless one is there when we are leaving RPR, its a nice stroll to citywalk, waiting on a water taxi takes longer than walking it.

When staying at Royal Pacific resort, do you have to cross a major highway or street to get to the parks?

no, you will not have to cross any streets. It is a path that you follow from the back of the resort. There is also only one entrance from a short distance from valet service. But, again this leads you down the back of resort area.

And it is a lovely landscaped path that meanders alongside the waterway.

Thanks! I was worried about it and almost chose HRH instead due to this issue. The google map shows a major highway/street so that's why I was confused. Having a six year old cross a major highway didn't sound like something I wanted to do so I figured we would take the water taxi but that tends to be a longer wait.

Now I can relax. :)
