Transportation to Saratoga Springs?

We are currently booked at Pop Century, but my plans may change to either Port Orleans Riverside or the Wilderness Lodge. This trip is just myself and DW for a romantic long weekend for our anniversary.

I am surprising DW with a spa treatment at the Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. Her treatment begins at 10am.

While she is at the Spa, I may be spending time in Epcot at the Food and Wine festival (we are going over Columbus day weekend). My plan was for the 2 of us to go to Epcot and have her transfer to a Saratoga Springs bus to get to the spa.

So, my questions:

1) is going to Epcot and then to Saratoga the best way?

2) If I am staying at Port Orleans Riverside, can I get to the spa via downtown disney and the boats?

Any other romantic suggestions are welcome also!
