Hello!

During our next trip, we are staying at Port Orleans and have a 9:50 pm dinner reservation at Ohana one of the nights.

Will the busses or boats be available back to Port Orleans after dinner that late? If so, what’s the best route to take?

Or is it better to drive to the Ohana reservation?

Thanks in advance! :)

If MK is still open (even if just for an after hours event) when you finish, you can monorail or boat over there and catch the PO bus back. Transportation usually runs for about an hour after the park closes. If not, then taxi/rideshare is your option. If you drive, you’ll be able to park at Poly, and that of course would be the quickest way back.

If it were us, and we had the option to drive, that would be our choice. It certainly would be the cheapest, most convenient and fastest to get you back. But that assumes you're coming from someplace where you'll have the car with you! If you're spending the day in the parks and then taking Disney transportation to dinner, that might not work. The parking for MK (ticket & transportation) lot is very close to Poly, so you might be able to park free (since you're a WDW guest) and then walk to your car after dinner, to drive back. It would give you a chance to walk off some of the 'Ohana bread pudding before bed! It really depends on your plans the rest of the day before dinner.

Yes, I agree. The only thing I would add is to be aware of what time MK closes that night, so that if you're parked way out in the MK/TTC lot you can still catch the parking tram instead of having a very, very long walk to your car. If you have time between park and dinner, you could move your car to Poly shortly before your ADR time.

If you have a car and a reservation you can park at Poly. You will not be able to go to Magic for transfer after the park closing. I would not count on a Springs bus after it gets late in the evening. Once Springs is close to being empty the buses just sit and wait for people to come out and don't necessarily make runs to the resorts.
