Transportation to Newark Airport for 8!

I'm trying to find an economical way to get the family (5 adults, 2 teens and 1 infant) to Newark airport for our Sept trip.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

What part of Jersey? Most of the shuttle services send vans and with 8 you would take up most of one. Limo might be an option too but if you're in NNJ it could get pricey.

NJ Transit serves the Newark Airport via rail. Maybe that's an option?

When I lived in NJ I always took a taxi to the nearest train station (or had someone drop me there) and then took the train to EWR. Can you get to a train station?

i honestly dont know if we could handle the train with all of us, plus 2 kids and the baby with all the luggage, stroller, etc.....I'm going to try & price out passenger vans today....maybe that would be a viable option?

Train with kids and luggage would be a pain. Depending on what rail line you're coming in you might be changing in Seacacus or Newark Penn.
I wouldn't take a train. Did you consider long term parking at the airport? It might be cheaper than getting a round trip shuttle.

See what supershuttle charges for a private van. Also check your local cab company.

Assuming you have a vehicle that will fit your family, with luggage, you might consider long term parking.

We would have to park 2 cars in long term for 10 days! Maybe I will price it out both ways-I'll let everyone know which way prices out cheaper!

I am also going in September and face this same task. (although we are 3 adults, a teen, an 8 yr old and a 3 yr old) I do have a car that will accomodate us, but fear parking it long term at Newark. I am trying to see if I can get a neighbor/non-traveling family member, etc to drive my van and bring it home for us.

The airports website provides a list of companies. I'd either skip whatever company offers a rate that's too good to true or allow enough time to call an alternate company if the low ball rate company becomes a "no show".

Not sure where you are in NJ. We ar ein Northern, NJ and always use Airbrook. They have small vans.

I am in NNJ and used a local cab company. I needed a mini van, 2 adults and 3 kids in car seats. I had to be sure a mini van was coming. I called around and found a local service for $65. You might need two vans but I would check local first and price out your options.

We are using Airbrook next month. It is $240, round trip to Newark airport from Bergen Countty. That price includes tolls and gratuity. It is for a van that holds 11 passengers.

We have always parked at Corporate Parking - which is off of 1 & 9 behind the bud plant. They park the car, indoor or out, and shuttle to and from the airport. May be cheaper than the van/limo

We use MyLimo.com - it's part of Gogel Auto group in East Hanover... We usually just need a town car for the three of us, but this past week we had my parents with us, so we had a stretch limo. I'm sure they have passenger vans to accomodate your party.

I have used off site parking for several years several times a year and have never had any problem. Two different lots I have had great service and success. I just got home yesterday and had a rate of 8.26 a day plus tax/fees. Total bill from Wed-wed was 70 bucks.... another is 11.25 with coupons online with fees it's a bit more but probably still cheaper than round trip limo service with a van tolls tips.....

you pull up they unload and load their van one person checks in and you are off to the terminal in 5 minutes. I have never had to wait for a van to get to the airport. YOu get home get your luggage and call and they are usually there within 5 minutes.
