Transportation to/from SSR and the parks/other resorts. What's it like?

Getting ready for a stay at SSR in early May and trying to do a bit of planning but need some help on transportation expectations to/from SSR to the parks and other resorts. With 4 adults and a 5 year old (who will probably need a nap in the afternoon) I'm trying to figure out how to schedule our dining and park tours. Please help if you can!!

You won't find buses that will take you to the other resorts from SSR. The buses to the parks are all good though.
So, if you want to get to other resorts, you will have to head to a park and then change over to that resorts bus there. If you give us some of your ADRs we can give you better ideas.

One nice thing about staying at SSR - especially if you stay in the Congress Park area - you can walk to Downtown Disney to catch resort buses in about 10-12 minutes. For parks - catch the bus from SSR - for other resorts walk to DTD and go from there.
