Transportation to Early Tour at MK

I have a question for the people in the purple pants, or anyone else who may know the answer. On our next trip we are saying at Pop Century and going on the Steam Engine Tour. The CM told DH we had to be there by 7:10 AM and there would be no transportation at that time. She said we would have to take a taxi or park our car at Contemporary and walk over. Is this true? We will have our own car, but I didn't think they would let you park at the Contemporary all day(We will probably stay in the park for a least a few hours after the tour ends).

I will drive if I have to but I prefer to rely on Disney transportation. I have no problem finding my way around in the "real world" but I have a hard time getting around WDW.

As you already know, don't listen to any transportation info from the Cast Members unless they are wearing purple pants!
The early breakfast buses start around 6-6:30am daily. Just take this bus to the Magic Kingdom. The driver may be going to Chef Mickey's so if you have to get off at the Contemporary you can take the ten minute walk to the MK.
I agree that the Contemporary will not let you park there all day. They would likely give you a three hour parking pass. Only Disney buses are allowed near the MK entrance so a taxi would have to drop you off at one of the MK resorts or the TTC.

I took this tour and drove to the Contemporary. They did indeed give me a three hour parking pass, which worked out fine for me since I was planning on leaving the MK after the tour anyway. I really enjoyed the tour, hope you do too!
