Transportation to Chef Mickey's

We will be staying at PC from Nov 28 to Dec 4. We have no parks planned for that Wed. We want to go to DTD, Resort hop to see X-mas decorations and end up at Chef Mickey's for the character dinner. Should we drive or take Disney transportation? Where do we get on the monorail to go to the contemporary? I really want to ride the monorail around all of those properties.

I would take a bus to MK, and either walk to the monorail, or walk to the Contemp.

If you're planning on going straight from DTD, then you'd probably want to park at the CR, just before your PS at Chef Mickey's. Have your dinner and then hop on the resort monorail from the CR. This will take you around to the GF and Poly. You would then have to drive over to WL if you wanted to take in the decorations there. You just have to watch your time as there usually is a time limit that they allow you to park at other resorts. I'm not certain how strict they are with enforcing this.

You could also park at the TTC and monorail over to the CR, or ferry/monorail over to MK and walk to CR from there.
