Transportation to ADRs?

Hi, all. Just wanted to ask if anyone ever had any problems making it on time to an early-morning ADR using Disney transportation, especially if the ADR was before park opening? I'm going in October, staying at Beach Club, and will be shooting for the first available ADR at Donald's Safari Breakfast at AK. If the ADR is before park opening, does this usually cause a problem? Thanks.

Buses start running from the resorts to Magic Kingdom by 6:30, and from the resorts to the other parks by 7.

Figure about every half hour.

No problem at all. As a matter of fact, taking the bus is the BEST way to get to an early morning ADR at Animal Kingdom. For some reason the Animal Kingdom parking lot opens no earlier than 30 minutes before park opening. So if you were to have an 8am ADR at Tusker House, then if you drove or took a taxi, you would be sitting at the parking lot tollbooth waiting.

If you take a bus, they go in a different entrance and will get you there on time.

It's been my experience that WDW won't strand guests who have ADR's or are at a planned (or ticketed) event. You may have to stop at more resorts on your way to/from the ADR than with normal WDW transportation, but they'll get you there.

The buses go to ALL the parks at 6:30, not just MK. How do I know this??? Oh, I don't know...could it be the many times I've taken those early buses to the AK??? :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the info, folks! Another question - I've done an early ADR for Rainforest before at AK, which has its own entrance, but not for Tusker House, which is deeper inside the park. If you approach the gate to be let in for your early ADR, are people there to let you in? Do you need to show proof of your ADR? Thanks.

Head for the furthest-right turnstile. There will be CMs there with clipboards (I think) containing the list of reservations. Have your name with you ;) but yeah, your reservation number might be a good idea, too.

I think this just depends on the CM. Last Wednesday, we had an 8:05 ADR for CP. Not one person in line was asked their name or for any information. I have heard of other people being asked for proof they have the ADR, so I'd bring the conf # just in case.
