It's almost time for our Disney trip! :cool1: We are heading home Jan 4-9 and I had a couple quick questions. Right now we plan on going to Hollywood Studios on 1/7 with park closing still listed at 7 and Fantasmic at 7. Since they announced the Star Wars fireworks and dessert party, I'm assuming fireworks are at 8 but do you think the park would be opened later than that? Or now closing at 8 with fireworks?
Second (longshot) question: If we DO stay for fireworks at 8 (15min?) would it be possible to make it to Disney Springs for a T-Rex reservation at 9? We will have a rental car and will most likely be dropped off since our entire party isn't eating there so we wouldn't have to worry about parking, but I'm not sure I want to risk it. I'm debating between either switching the reservation to 9:30 or missing the fireworks because I don't want to skip out on T-Rex. Or will there be a spot outside the park to see the fireworks to make leaving easier? Thanks dis experts ^_^

Join the Landry's Select Club - it will give you priority seating without an ADR. That way, you just show up when you show up and get the next available table (you'll be given priority over those with ADRs.)

It that's true, I'm never setting foot in another Landry's restaurant.

It's not totally priority. They may seat some ADRs before you get seated, but they do seat you pretty fast. It's great at their locations that don't take reservations. I always make ADRs at WDW, because I am a paranoid planner.

It's true. You go in, show your card, and go directly in with the people who are waiting to be seated Nd given the next available party size (behind other Select Club Members.)

Honestly, I don't really know what the big deal is, since the Landry's restaurants are better than other WDW restaurants at getting people in at their ADR time. They just hold some tables back for club members.

Doesn't Rainforest do the same thing?

I didn't realize they were both the same company. I just know my friend has a card and we bypassed the line at Rainforest.
