Transportation questions from first-timer

Hi! I've gone through a bunch of your posts, but haven't found any ones about these questions.

We are sailing Oct. 29-Nov. 5 (eastern), our first time,and first cruise ever. We are traveling with our 3-year-old son. We opted for the airfare and we'll be doing the same-day arrival. I wish I had arrived the day before, but Disney assures us we'll make the boat no problems.

My question is, what is the ground transportation from the airport to the port? Are the car seats or booster seats available? If not, do we bring ours, or just buckle him in the regular seat? I'm leery of this, of course.

I have a million questions about our cruise, but I'll just start here!!

I saw your post and we are on the same cruise!! I cannot wait to go.

Wanted to let you know we have a discussion board set up in the "cruise meets" section also. I am a first time cruiser also, but several there are seasoned veterans and they can answer any questions you may have - trust me on this one!!

DCL ground transportation is on a big bus, and there are no seatbelts. So, you cannot buckle in your car seats. There are no car seats or boosters.

Your alternatives would be a private limo service or rental car if you wanted to use your car seats.
