Transportation Question Please

If one is not going to be renting a car, what is the best way(s) to travel from any of the closest airports, to the Anaheim area? a cab, I believe would cost the price of a first born, and buses? I have been to SO. Ca. before, but not by bus, always by plane, and or car. So I am a bit confused about how to best figure how to avoid walking many a mile, lugging well luggage! seriously.
I have in mind properties that are not far from Disneyland.

Which airport specifically are you talking about? Transportation options and costs are different from each.

I am not positive at this point, it is my understanding that LAX, has the best price and flexibility, so I probably would be flying into that airport.

I don't have any personal experience with LAX, as I have only flown into SNA and LGB.

However, I believe your best options from LAX are either the Disneyland Express http://graylineanaheim.com/airport_info.cfm or Super Shuttle http://www.supershuttle.com/

Thank you again, for the new information and links. I am under the impression though, that the DL shuttle only takes you to their property. Maybe I can hitch a ride from them?

I'm 99.9% sure that the DLE provides transportation to all the Anaheim area hotels, not just the DLR properties. Even their website states it.

Gisele, might want to check into Long Beach. It's often as cheap as LAX, and much closer, so transport is quite a bit less.

i bought a 4 day pass thru grayline buses for round trip from SNA to hojos, san diego zoo, seaworld, and universal studios for $129. we are not driving anywhere our whole vacation! no gas and no getting lost!! Whooo Hoooo!

A taxi from LGB is right about $40 with tip.
