Transportation Queries

We are a party of 9 (6 adults;3 children) staying at Port Orleans French Quarters. We have to get to Port Canaveral to board the Magic and was hoping to get some ideas on our best/cheapest mode of transportation ie. DCL transportation;taxi's; rent a vehicle; arrange for van pickup?
Also after the cruise the same group has to get to Orlando airport - any suggestions? Thanks!

Because you have a large group I would look into a shuttle service. Some companies have vans which may work or shuttle busses which you can hire privately. You will find the price is fairly good compared to $35 per person per way, that's the DCL Transport cost. If you rent for 9 you will need two large vehicles again this won't be cheap. Look for private shuttles, or town car companies that have mini buses or stretched hummers.

I would definately look into a shuttle service as well.
