We are going to Disneyland in late July. We will be using Jet Blue from Dulles(Washington, DC) to Long Beach. We are wondering what are the options for transportation to and from Long Beach to Disneyland without renting a car?

If you mean from the airport to your resort or hotel:

Prime Time Shuttle 310 342-7200-They offer shared and private van shuttle service. http://www.primetimeshuttle.com

SuperShuttle 800 862-7771

3R Express Shuttle 800 884-0000

Ultimate Limousine 714 520-0570

Continental Limousines 800 700-5466

I'm not really familiar with any of these services, however, Prime Time Shuttle has a good reputation out here and we'll be using them for transportation to LAX for our trip to WDW in August.

We are staying at Paradise Pier. So it would be to and from the airport to the hotel. Thanks for the info.

You're welcome! I forgot to mention that both SuperShuttle and Prime Time Shuttle both offer towncar service as well.

Funny someone should start this thread... I myself am thinking about taking a trip to Disneyland. I've never been there, and really would like to.

Which airport is the best airport to fly into?

How much is it (typically) for just one person, round trip, to a DL resort? I don't mind doing a shared ride type service (like Mears).

Hi Tyler, for us from DC to the LA area, Jet Blue is very close to cost of the others to LAZ or Orange county. Thee others have one stop and most plane change. Jet blue is non stop. Long Beach seems to be a minor airport there. It looks closer than LAX but further than Orange county. All the non stops right now online are over $2000 per person. sheesh.

I would recommend LAX or LGB, with LGB being the closest to Anaheim (Disneyland). I haven't traveled from the Long Beach airport to Disney but I would estimate it would take approximately 30-45 minutes on a nonstop shuttle. Tyler, Prime Time Shuttle and SuperShuttle are the one's most used out here. Using PrimeTime Shuttle, a sample fare would be around $20 from LAX on a shared shuttle, private van for 7 persons would be around $80 and towncar around $92; these are one way prices. Not sure what SuperShuttle charges. I'm thinking it may be a little cheaper if you were coming in from Long Beach since it's closer to Anaheim.

I think you should look into the Orange County airport, also known as the John Wayne airport. It is closer than LAX and smaller so much less hassle.
