Transportation options from Ft. Lauderdale airport to Miami

We are cruising on the Disney Magic in November and are flying Southwest into Ft. Lauderdale the day before our cruise (I had a Southwest credit that needed to be used). We are staying at a hotel close to the port so I can just either take the hotel shuttle or a taxi. Trying to figure out the best way (not necessarily the cheapest) way to get from the airport to our hotel in Miami. We normally cruise out of Port Canaveral so this is something new to me. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
