Transportation from WL ?

I"m staying @ the WL,Was just wondering what would be the easiest and quickest way to leave that resort to go visit another one,say to eat lunch or dinner at the BC.? I'm not at all familiar with the layout @ Disney.Do I just catch a bus,or do I need to go into MK and then travel from there via the monorail ? I also just want to say thanks to everyone on this site for all the very helpful info I have received in helping me with this trip!! Nancy

I don't know which is fastest, but the two ways that I would choose from is a bus to MGM and then a boat from MGM to YC/BC. The other way is a bus or boat to MK and then the bus from MK to BC. Much of the time depends on how long you have to wait for the boats and buses.

Are you going to Epcot at all during your trip? If you made your dinner plans at the BC on the day you were at Epcot, you can walk to the BC through the international gateway at Epcot. Then you could always walk back to Epcot to see the fireworks, and then take a bus back to your resort!

The quickest way is to get a taxi. We have done this to travel to another resort for dinner when we were strapped for time. However, part of the disney experience, IMO is taking in the scenery, so depending on where you are traveling to, the boat over the the CR is a nice ride then hop on the monorail to get to the other monorail resorts. Otherwise, if you are at a park, its easy to get onto a bus (to that resort) and head over to whichever resort you want to visit. Have a great trip!!
