Transportation from Universal Hotel to Disney's Animal Kingdom

Hi - I'm new to this forum so maybe this questions has already been answered. My family and I will be staying at Royal Pacific in May 2011 and want to take one day to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom. We will not be renting a car so we're not sure how we will get there. Any suggestions? My father is hanicap and will be renting a scooter for the week so we need a form of transportation that will accomodate his condition. Thanks in advance!
