Transportation from POP to ESPN Wide world of Sports

I am attending a conference this weekend at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. We are staying at POP. Can anyone help me with transportation? Is there bus service between POP and ESPN Wide World of Sports complex? what hours is it available? How much does a taxi cost between the two? How much should I tip if I take a taxi? Where to you get the taxi at POP? Thanks for all your help. I have always had a car or just used the Disney busses.

You can get to ESPN Club from POP by taking the bus to Hollywood Studios and then the boat to Boardwalk. The boat launch will be outsides the gates on your left as you leave the bus area. It is about a 15 minute boat ride. It is also a short walk through the International Gateway in the World Showcase in Epcot, if you happen to be in the park that day. You could just walk over to the EPSN Club from there. The International Gateway is located between England and France.

That's not the Wide World of Sports- the OP is referring, I expect to the athletic complex.

It's only a couple of miles from Pop so a cab would only be approx $9 plus a 15-20% tip, and take about 5-7 minutes.

There are sometime buses from Pop to WWOS but usually only during scheduled sporting events, check with the bell desk and they should be able to tell you whether they are running at that particular day.

From POP there is a bus that will take you over. We have done it several times.

The bus from Pop to EWWS is running this weekend: Thurs. 3-10 p.m., Fri. 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Sat. 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday's schedule hasn't been released yet, but it will probably be running then too, as there are multiple events scheduled.

When it's running, the bus runs every 30 minutes, leaving Pop around 5-10 minutes after the hour and half-hour arriving around 15 minutes later, and departing EWWS on the hour & half-hour.

As a PP said, it is easy and fairly inexpensive to get a taxi from Pop to EWWS. I don't know how easy it is to pick one up at EWWS; you might have to call for one.

There may also be more frequent charter bus service provided by your event organizers. You should find out at event check-in.

Thanks for all the responses. POP is not the host hotel, so they said there would not be transportation. I'm glad to hear that there is a bus running this weekend. Thanks again for all the info. Mom2rb- Where do you coach? I am glad the old routines will be gone, but overwhelmed at learning the new ones.
