Hello,

My family and I (6 total, 2 adults, 2 teens, 2 older children) are going to be in Paris and have a two night DLP trip planned August 1-3 staying at the SL. I have a few questions regarding transportation.

- Can we take large/checked size luggage on the RER A line train?
- Can we purchase tickets for the train online in advance?
- Can we purchase Disney Express to store/transfer our luggage if we use the RER train and not Eurostar?
- Would we save time if we were to pay for a transfer with Western Tours vs. taking the train?

Thanks in advance! This forum has been a huge help with our planning!!

1. Yes, you can take large luggage with you on the RER. Take the elevator instead of the escalators if needed.
2. I am not 100% sure, If you plan to use the RER more often there are multi-day options available.
3. Also not 100% sure, I think yes, you have to pay at the station.
4. Possible, but maybe not a lot, think 10 minutes.
It can also take longer depending on where you are in Paris and if there are any traffic jams. It's like throwing a pair of dice.

I would definitely try to get to a station on the A line first, if you have a lot of luggage. Transferring with luggage is just annoying.

It will be cheaper to take a car service than the RER. We used Inter Prestige 3x this last week and they were fantastic. On time, great sized vehicles, great communication. Highly recommend

Pricing was very reasonable and worth every penny.

We took the RER A from Auber to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy (Disneyland Paris). We had full size suitcases plus backpacks. It was five euros per person. We bought tickets at the station the day of. We traveled midday midweek and it was pretty empty, so we were able to grab seats and keep our luggage nearby.

For us (an adult couple), this was the cheapest option. A taxi or Uber was going to be around 70-90 euros. We were also wary because a FaceBook planning group for Paris indicated that people were having Uber rides cancelled on them. The train seemed more reliable.

We used the Magical Shuttle Bus to get to the airport area after our DLP leg. That was 23 euros a person, so it made sense for us.

You’ll have to scale it for your party size to see if it’s worth it.
