Does anyone know the cheapest way to get from the Orlando Sanford airport to Disney???
I don't believe they offer magical express, anyone have any tips??
Thanks!!!:goodvibes

Rent a car, one way/one day, pick up at the airport drop off at WDW. Reverse for your trip home.

Use a car service. Around $200 +tip R/T.

DME doesn't service Sanford. There isn't shuttle service. Some of the car services that offer cheap pricing have bad reputations. The going rate is around $200, maybe a little less. Companies that offer very low rates will sometimes not pick you up, if they can book a more profitable fare.

I have used a van taxi service before that was much cheaper than that.
I'm looking for the most inexpensive transportation for just two people.

You're not going to find a reputable company for much less than $200 round trip.

Sanford airport is at least twice the distance from WDW as MCO. The rate for a taxi/car service is about twice the rate.

According Mears taxi rate estimator the fare from Sanford to Typhoon Lagoon (I didn't bother looking up the address for a resort) is $106 (one way)

Happy Limo is $182 R/T (193 for MK hotels).

You're not going to find a reputable company much less then $200.

Why not just use the van taxi service you previously used? Was it from Sanford airport?

Then I would go with them since you've used them before. But, the going rate is about $200.
Otherwise, rent a car. It takes about an hour to get to WDW from Sanford. It took us about 10 mins longer than that on Sunday, but we left WDW around 10:30am and ran into a ton of traffic heading to SW and US/IoA...that slowed us down a bit. But otherwise, it's an easy drive.

If you look on here there have been several people say that they made reservations to be picked up at Sanford airport but they never got picked up. So you best bet is a rental car. Sign up for the alamo insider and you can get a good rate.

I just priced a mid size of one day rental using my insider member number and the price would be $58.00 for a pick up at Sanford and dropping off at Disney car care center. This was a May rental.
