Transportation from Orlando (MCO) to Port of Tampa

Is there any "cheap" way to get from from Orlando to Tampa besides renting a car? I hate to pay for a rental car when it will be sitting at the Port.

The red coach bus is $20. to Tampa airport. Most rental companies have a rental location by the cruise ports you can do a one way rental and not pay a drop off fee.

Looks like their system only goes to the end of Nov. Give them a call. My Cousin rode the bus from Atlanta to MCO and loved it.

If you can get to Tampa Airport, I think it's about a $30 cab ride to the port, which would be easiest.

If it costs you $30 by cab from TPA to the port, and at least 2 $20 tickets on a bus, then you are probably better off getting a single-day car rental from MCO to the port; the odds are that it won't cost you more than $70, and it will certainly take less time.

Does anyone know what rental companies may have car rental office at the port. I didn't see that info and thought I would have to return a car rental at the airport. Thanks
