Transportation from mco to universal resort/then to disney resort

Trying to decide between mears shuttle or private car from MCO to Cabana Bay Resort. Then will need from Cabana Bay to Polynesian at Disney. One way shuttle for 2 is $40 (20 each) or private car is $65.. Are shuttles cramped and usually make several hotel stops? And when traveling from Cabana Bay to Poly would it be cheaper to just get a taxi or pay $50 (plus gratuity) for private car? Any opinions or advice appreciated!

We are using a Meet & Greet for MCO to RPR and back. Cost for 3 people was $50 each way. It's the one that Universal partners with for their packages.
