transportation from LAX to Disneyland hotel

I have always used Disneyland Resort Exp from LAX to Disneyland hotel. Since it only goes once an hour now it is very inconvenient. Just wondering anyone's experiences with Prime Time or Karmel Shuttle. Also might consider using a private non stop company like DK Livery. Suggestions please.

We've tried Karmel and Primetime and hated both. I honestly don't know if there is such a thing as a "good shuttle experience" ... unless you luck out and get the one decent driver from each. To me it's like asking "what was your favorite root canal experience" ... Both times we used shuttles, we ended up at our hotel car sick (and we NEVER get car sick), exhausted, and frustrated from experiencing their rudeness and disregard for anyone's safety the last 2 hours.

For us, it's just not worth saving $40 or so dollars to use a shuttle. We used a limo service last time and LOVED it. So much more relaxing to have a quiet, private, smooth ride after a long journey. Some things are just worth paying for, and this is one of them.

We just used DK Livery this week and were very happy and impressed. It was cheaper than Disneyland Express, and with better, personalized service, as well as a grocery stop. Plus, no stops at other hotels!

We switched from DRE to Karmel last trip (October 2013) and *loved* them. On-time, only picks up reserved passengers (no trolling around the airport or resort area for additional fares), friendly/chatty/knowledgeable drivers, and each trip was under an hour between LAX and DLR. We're using them again for our upcoming August trip in two weeks. They're $94 round-trip for two people.

Any other suggestions? Really thinking of DK Livery. Are the prices per vehicle? We may have 2 from LAX to Disneyland hotel but then 4 of us back at the same time from Disneyland hotel to LAX.

We plan on trying Uber for our trip next month and we're staying at DLH as well. Their website quotes $42-56 one way for UberX (Prius, other similar sedans).
