Transportation from Disney to Universal

We are camping at the Disney campgrounds to save money. I was wondering of the best (i.e. cheapest) way to do transportation between Disney and Universal. Taxi? Shuttle? We don't plan to rent a car for the entire trip - just not worth it to us for only one day of use. Any help would be great!

I know Mears offers service from the Disney resorts to / from Universal. R/T is about $17/pp but you have to call the day before to arrange it. I'm not sure if they offer it for the campground though
