hi i will be visiting florida for the first time at the end of april, i will be staying at the all star music resort:). i know i disney transportation free but im wondering how i get to universal, bush gardens and discovery cove. we dont really want to hire a car. i have heard about mears transportation but cant get any prices ao timetables up on there website. i have also had a quote from a taxi company for 330 dollars to bush gardens round trip but i think its rather expensive. when i booked my holiday the travel agent told us we wont need a car and the buses are only a couple of dollars.
hope someone can help

Busch Gardens is outside Tampa. It is about 45-60 minutes west of Orlando. A taxi would be prohibitively expensive and I would strongly recommend renting a car - there are onsite rental companies that will pick you up at your resort and drop you back off when you are done with the car. There is a shuttle service provided by Mears that will take you to Universal and I believe Sea World, but not sure about Discovery Cove (althought it is across from Sea World). There is also a public transportation bus system that others can tell you more about and that is what costs just a few dollars. I would take a taxi thought and eliminate the need for busses or public transportation.

thanx for your help. do you know of any cheep car rental places that will drop of car at disney all stars music

You should check several of the different rental companies. They won't necessarily drop the car to you as pick you up and bring you to the car rental desks and then drop you back off.

Hertz is at Shades of Green - they are not necessarily the cheapest. I think the Car Care Center has a few different companies and Dolphin has a desk as well. Hopefully some of the others here can help you with specific companies. A lot of times people find discount codes online www.mousesavers.com is a good place to start that can help you reduce the cost of the rental. You might want to package your BG, Universal and Discover Cove days consecutively in order to take advantage of having the car and keep it for a few days.

To get to SeaWorld, there is a city bus that is $2.00 each direction per person.

Take Lynx #50 from the TTC and you will get to Sea World.

The schedule is at www.golynx.com

The best way to get to Universal/IOA is to take Mears transportation. Dial 0 from your room phone and ask to be connected to Mears, then you can reserve your time for the next day to be transported to Universal. The transfer is $19 per person.

You can buy the Mears transportation vouchers at the airport with a credit card before getting on your bus to Disney, but still need to call the night before to make the reservation. If you don't buy the bus vouchers in advance, then you must pay cash to the driver.

I believe there are ticket options for Bush Gardens that include a bus ride from Sea World.

I would check out the Bush Gardens website.
