My dd was sick all weekend so we missed Easter celebrations with family today. To cheer her up we spent the afternoon planning the details of our August trip. Our favorite activity together:)

we have decided to go to Sea World on the day we switch from BCV to AKL. Our thought is to hire a taxi from Mears which will cost about $30 each way according to their site. A small rental would run us about $60 with gas and we would have to get from the Swan to AKL and figure out the directions.

Looking for input and opinions on Mears Taxi or any other taxi for around the same price.

If money is an obstacle, I would take the Lynx #50 bus from the TTC. If you can afford the $60 plus tip, then I would jsut take a taxi.

Or you could compromise: take a taxi to SW in the morning and then take the bus back. You could get off at DTD and then hop on an AKL bus. The Lynx bus drops off over behind Cirque. To save wear and tear on your feet, take the boat behind the House of Blues over to the Marketplace side where you cna catch the AKL bus. That would save you some money but get you to SW quicker in the morning.

Thank you so much for your responses! I never would have considered public transportation but it looks so easy and is so inexpensive we just might be trying it at least one way!

:)
