Transportation from Buena Vista Hotels

I posted this in the wrong forum the first time... sorry about that.

Planning a visit to DIS in September and we're planning on staying at one of the Hilton chain hotels in Buena Vista, probably Homewood Suites. The hotel has complimentary shuttle service to Epcot (then take monorail to MK), but we are considering just driving to MK instead.

Frommer's Guide said traffic can be bad along I-4 from 7am-9am.

If I drove to MK what kind of traffic would I be looking at from Buena Vista to MK... or is there backroads from BV to avoid I-4?

your going september. Will be like a ghost town. I stayed at buena vista palace last year and just took the busses but everywhere i went i never saw any road problems
