Transportation from Beach Club to Animal Kingdom

If I book a 8:30 a.m tour at Animal Kingdom, will the buses from the resort to the park be running at that hour? Also, has anyone been on the Backstage Safari?

I've been told the buses start running at 6:30 but are scarce. I should be out there by 7:00 for a 8:00 BBB at MK.

About a year ago, someone posted that you cannot take a cab directly to the Animal Kingdom park before the park opens. They had an 8 AM ADR. They said that they tried and sat at the locked gates until the cab driver said they had to take a bus from a resort. So he drove them to Animal Kingdom Lodge and they caught the bus from there.

I have an 8:30 Wild By Design tour booked, and they said I have to be there at 8:15.

The buses start running to AK about 6:30-6:45. For a tour at 8:30, I would be out at the AK bus stop by 7:00-7:15. The buses don't quite as frequently as the regular buses do.....at best, every 20-25mins. So, if you arrive at the stop as the bus is pulling away, you may face a longish wait. Better to ere on the side of being too early.
