This is our first time going to SeaWorld. We will be going at the beginning of our Disney trip. I was planning on staying at a Disney resort and heading over to SeaWorld but now I was thinking that since it was at the beginning of our trip maybe stay at a SeaWorld resort. Is there a shuttle to one of the resorts like the Magical Express from the airport? Will the hotel hold our luggage while we are at SeaWorld for the day because after the day we will be heading to WDW? Any tips would be great!!

I think any hotel would hold your bags if you are a guest. I can't tell if you are thinking of asking a close hotel to hold your bags but not stay there? Just keep it there and head to WDW? If that's the case, I would call ahead to a few hotels and ask. Some may do it for a small fee. There are also lockers at sea world for about $10 a day. Depending on how much you have maybe you could store it there?

As for shuttles, Mears (same company who does magical express) can take you to Sea world or area hotels. Most hotels near sea world offer a free shuttle to universal and a few offer an affordable shuttle to WDW. My next sea world hotel has an $8 shuttle to Epcot. You could check out one day, one way car rentals that drop off in Disney world. That would be my first choice giving you the car convenience for the day...

Good luck!

I don't believe any of the SW hotels offer free transportation from the airport. That's something you would have to arrange (via Mears shuttle, private towncar service, rental car, etc.) at your own cost.

If you spend one night at an onsite SW hotel, you would receive free Quick Queue passes for SeaWorld for your entire family as part of your stay. They would also transport you to and from SW via shuttle for free. You would then need to arrange your own transportation to your Disney resort. I am sure most hotels would hold your bags on check-out day while you enjoyed your visit to SeaWorld, but it would be best to ask the front desk prior to booking to confirm.

Yes that's what I was wondering if we would have to get our own transportation to the hotel. I know it was confusing the way I wrote it. So what I have to do now is compare costs of the transportation and Sea World hotel price to a Disney hotel and transportation to Sea World price.

I don't know how many are in your party but it is possible to take the public lynx bus #111 from the airport to the Seaworld area. Check www.golynx.com for route information. The cost is $2 per person but they don't have an area really for luggage - I have taken this route with a medium-large roller bag and carry on and it was fine - I just held my luggage and shlepped it myself.

I think the bus goes every 30 minutes and would be convenient for some of the hotels in the area depending on location.
