Transportation before parks

We are due to AK at 8 for a reservation. Do the buses start running early enough to get us there on time?

Buses start running at 6:30. I would be at the bus stop by 7:00.

And what Alesia said is true, no matter if you are told otherwise or see a sign saying that buses start 1 hour before park opening. The do run the buses starting at 6:30, though they are a bit less frequent. If you are at a stop by 7 you should be fine.

Disney starts running buses "AROUND" 6:30 AM to cover early ADRs/Tours.

Here are "first bus times" from one morning during a recent stay at All-Star Sports.

("First bus time" for Magic Kingdom.)

Yes,those "first buses" being that late is the exception rather than the rule at Sports.
