Transportation at DTD Hilton

We are staying at the Hilton in August and exclusively using their bus transportation. It's the only thing I am somewhat concerned about for this trip. We haven't stayed off property in awhile. Has anyone stayed there recently and have any comments?

Hi.
The busses usaly depart 10,over every 30 min.
This meens 8:10, 8:40, 9:10 , 9:40. and so on.
They operate all day.

There are 4,busses,one to every park,that comes at almust the same time.
They pick up people at all the 7(6) DTD hotels.
Ur in luck,because Hilton are the first(sometimes second)stop. .

The bus takes about this long : Epcot and Mgm 15.min.approx
Animal 25-30,min. approx.
MK : 30-40,min. approx.

Hi,Again.

They have never don that,over the 9 year periode that i have stayed in DTD.
Now i`m talking about the FREE buses,as decribed before.

But some of the hotels runs vans to Universal/Seaworld. You have to pay.
And some hotels order pick up vans,for free,that drives to Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlet.(A nasty place,if you don`t need new shoes,that is )

Please feel free to ask moore about DTD,as this is my favorite place to stay.

ColNorway - where do the busses drop off at the parks? And where do they pick up in relation to the on-site hotels?

Hi,Again. And HAPPY 4th,

The busses stop`s at parking spot 27,if i remember correct
It`s the same spot at all the parks.

At Epcot it`s a 3 min walk to the gate.
This spot is rather dangerus at closing time,because everyone leaves at the same time,and then the bus usaly shows up at 9:45.10:00.
Then you sit in the middle of the bus parking lot,when buses are leaving all around you,all the time.
Keep those Children close by!!!

At MGM it`s a 3,min walk to the gate.

At Animal it`s a 5,min walk to the gate.

At MK,the stop is at TTC,then you have to take the freey,or monorail to the gate.

The buses does not go to any onsite hotels,but at DTD,the Disney Buses goes directly to Port Orleans,and all the Allstars hotels.
But you can allways take the DTD,buses to a park,and switch there to a Disney bus,that goes directly to yours disierd Disney Resort.

Hi- we're thinking of staying her one night next April ( pre-cruise stay ). How close is the Hilton to DTD?
Since we're only going to be there for less than a day we're thinking of spending the day in DTD instead of the parks.

KTEACHER, The Hilton is literally across the street from DTD. You can probably walk there faster than you could drive.

Thanks! We've never spent much time at DTD , and we have a choice of staying at the Doubletree across from US, or the Hilton. By the time we get to the parks it will be almost noon, so DTD made more sense to me.
