Transportation- All-Star Music to Polynesian - 7:50am 'Ohana reservation

So this just occurred to me that it may be a problem.

Thought it was great to get an early reservation for breakfast so we can then head to the park, but looked at the park opening hours and transportation hours and don't know if we'll be able to use Disney transportation for this on 12/15/14?

Is it true that the buses, etc only start running 1 hour before the park opens? Will we have to get a taxi or some other option to make this reservation?

Buses start rolling at 6:30AM for early ADRs.

Usually buses to MK start at 6:30. The potential problem is getting from the MK to the Poly, especially if monorail maintenance is ongoing.

Occasionally, if you mention to your driver that you are trying to get to the Poly for a breakfast ADR, they might offer to take you directly there.

During my May trip to All-Star Sports,I was up early a couple of Mornings and decided to see just exactly how close to the often mentioned 6:30 AM start time that the first bus for each park arrived.

Remember this is just a snapshot of 2 particular Mornings at one particular Resort,but you may find it helpful.

7:00 AM----Magic Kingdom

It took me a couple reads to understand what you did, but this is super helpful! This is my first trip to All Stars (I'm a Beach Club/Boardwalk fan), and I also worried about early buses. This puts my mind at ease! Thanks so much for the info!!

I found it interesting that,at least on those 2 Mornings at that particular Resort,the often mentioned 6:30 AM start time only applied to Magic Kingdom,so it "may" be more accurate to say:

Magic Kingdom buses begin "around" 6:30 AM.
DHS,Epcot and DAK buses begin "around" 7:00-7:15 AM.

I know this is an old thread, but it's exactly speaking to my 'problem'.. I too will be staying at the All Stars and have an early breakfast reservation at the Poly... but I'm confused. Even if we can get a bus to MK, how do we get from there to the Poly? Will the monorail be running as early as 7:15 AM?

Yes,the Resort Monorail starts at 7:00 AM.

Also,mention to your Bus driver that you are trying to get to the Poly and they "MAY" drop you off there.
