Hello,
This is urgent and "search" function is down.

My daughter is getting married April 3. My cousin from IL waited to book the flight last minute and just got a text from his wife that they booked Peoria, IL airport to Sanford instead of Orlando International so now they can't take advantage of ME.

How far is this from WDW if I were to drive to get him (though this is a hectic wedding planning day for us)? Best shuttle service besides a rental car?

THANK YOU !!!!! Stressin' !!!!

Many people make that flight booking error! In any case, it's about an hours drive, each way....so you would have to block out 2 hrs in order to get there and back.
There is a shuttle service, but the name escapes me. A poster used this company to get her mom back to Sanford from WDW. It was fairly inexpensive as well. I'll see if I can find it.
Otherwise, it will be close to $200 to use a towncar service. I've used Tiffany Towncar with good results to, and from, Sanford.

It's a 45 minute drive each way. I would tell them to take a cab, a towncar, or find their own shuttle. They can find a list of approved transportation companies on the airport website.

Wow...thank you. My cousin is on a budget. And our time is so tight the day he is coming in because we are preparing for the rehearsal dinner. Thank you VERY much for the info you provided. Sounds like renting a car would be cheapest.

Re ring a car is really the best option. It's easy at Sanford. The drive is easy as well.

There is a shuttle. I think it's something like $60 R/T. You can book it on Allegiant's website. A poster recently used it and it worked great.

Thank you everyone!!! Big help!

He did end up renting a car from Dollar for 3 days for $55. Came out cheaper than any shuttle---though Lewis, I didn't see your post until after he rented the car. Will have to remember the Allegiant shuttle option on their page.

MUCH APPRECIATED :disrocks:
