Transport from Sanford Airport to Hard Rock Hotel

Hi! Hope you don't mind if I jump in and ask a question. I have been "lurking" for a few weeks now.

My family is coming to universal for the third time on April 16. Our travel is a bit out of the ordinary..my husband is meeting us down in the car since he will be halfway down already enjoying a golf trip beforehand. So 2 ds and dd will be flying down with me and my guide dog. Crazy enough, my guide dog came already named...Orlando! He loves visiting his namesake. Anyway, I digress, four people and a dog seeking transport from SAnford airport to HRH, any suggestions?

Counting the minutes for our April Harry potter return visit!

I've been researching this myself--I'm flying into Sanford on Allegient too. It looks like it will be at least an hour drive from the airport to Universal, depending on traffic, so the taxi and towncar costs were so much higher than I expected when I thought that I would be coming from the nearer airport. I realized that I would end up spending $200-$240 by the time I paid a tip too. But for me, I decided I would have to rent a car because we are going to have to be back to the airport at 5 AM. I knew that I would fret the entire vacation over whether the driver would be there on time! This way the only early morning problem I'll have is waking up teenagers! But I was torn--renting a towncar or a limo sounded like so much fun, I probably would have sprung for it if we didn't have to go back so early. But I am a huge worrier, so the more I can take care of myself, the better. And with a car we can go elsewhere to eat or go do something different outside of Universal if we want.

Well, I figured it all out thanks to your help. Taking a towncar from SFB to hard rock on arrival. When we return, hard rock has a towncar that will take us to SFB for $55!! Very excited I call concierge and asked for their recommendation on a shuttle company, and they have their own car. YEA

There are always town cars waiting at the hotels.
