Hi all!

We are taking the train (Amtrak Silver Star) from NYC down to Kissimmee. We leave Penn Station in NY at 11:00 AM and arrive Sunday morning some 23-24 hours later. Hopefully the weather will not affect our trip too badly.

Does anyone know of or recommend a good shuttle service to get use from the train station in Kissimmee to the magic Kingdom?

Thanks in advance.

Good place to get off , Kissimmee...alot less congestion and fuss...we use it all the time...

On the transportation, there are cabs available (runs about 40 bucks one way plus tip) noes that's a bunch of years ago....

We use a car service (can't mention the name, it's banned by the authorities of this web site)....but googling ought to produce companies that do pick up in Kissimmee....cost usually runs 90-120.00 round trip and some offer a free 30 minute grocery stop.

We do like the car service over taxis, the grocery stop is a godsend for us....Publix along the way with an alcohol store next door...hope you find a service you like..

Thanks for the reply.

I remember seeing references to car services in my early research into this trip, I'll have to revisit them (I even specifically remember one mentioning grocery stops). Do any of these taxis or car services offer discounts for the Orlando magic card (I got one for the Amtrak train discount)?

Regarding a grocery stop - sounds like it could be a good idea, however I wonder if locals will be in "storm stockpile" mode and it will be packed and running low on supplies.
