I'm hoping someone can help, I'd be very grateful.
My mum has asked me to look into the costs/practicalities of a 50th Birthday weekend trip to DLP sometime between August and October for 6 people. We've never been before. I'm fairly confident about being able to find a decent deal, though this will be done on a minimum budget.
One thing worries me though, and that is the practicalities of getting Mum to and from DLP. She's wheelchair bound, and while she can transfer, she can't walk more than about three steps on flat ground.
I also don't think we'll be able to afford an on-site stay, which means an offsite hotel.

Mum's quite a large lady, and we wouldn't get very far pushing her in a manual chair (possible for short distances), as I'm simply not strong enough.
She has a powered chair, and an adapted vehicle so she can drive, but we live in the north west of England, so it would be a very long drive, and I don't think she's so keen on that, but would be a possibility if it was our only affordable option.
We could take the train, as she can travel on those fine with her own chair, though this could get expensive, and I'm not sure what the public transport options and accessibility would be like on the other end.
Flying would also be an option, but she's not flown since she's been in a chair, so none of us are quite sure what this would entail.
I guess I'm asking if anyone has had any experience of the accessibility options, and what would work best? Also whether there are any tips of areas to avoid, things to especially be aware of etc?
She's very conscious of causing issues and has even volunteered to stay behind, though I know this would crush her. She's never been to Disney and hates the idea that her chair might hold her back. I really want to take her. She could really do with the magic.

Any help/advise would be massively appreciated.
Thanks
