I just saw the promotion to get Sea World tickets for $5 for the kids if we purchase them online. That's great but we were going to buy the ticket that included the bus transportation. I don't think we can get a bus only ticket to Sea World - can we?

If not we will have to rent a car for the day. Our hotel is in Anaheim so we are going back and forth to Sea World in one day. How far is the drive? How much do you think a rental car will be?

Thanks!

At Greyline tours, the bus and ticket to SeaWorld from Anaheim is the same as a one day ticket to the park by itself. If you are a AAA member there is 10% off. $69 adult and $59 child plus additional 10% for AAA.

I realize if you go with Greyline you get the transportation for "free" if you pay full price for admission tickets. But what about if you want to buy the $5 ticket they are currently offering? You save a lot on entry but you still need a way to get there. I saw Greyline offers a transportation only option but it is about $43 so you end up saving about $10.

Thanks for the AAA tip. I didn't know that! :thumbsup2

Also, I wondering if you take the bus to Sea World do you get enough time? What time do they make you leave the park?

Greyline is an 11 hr tour. Leave anaheim 9am arrive 11 am. Have 7 hr in park, leave Seaworld 6 pm arrive anaheim 8 pm.

THANKS! I think we are going to rent a car. It's a lot of driving for my husband in one day but I'd hate to have to leave at 6pm if we are not ready. Of course this means that my DH will make me let him sleep in the next day when I'd rather be up and out! :rotfl2:

What is the kids $5 tix promotion? Can you share?

If you go to Sea World's website you will see the details. Basically from now through December (I believe) if you order online you can get one kid's ticket for $5 for every adult ticket you purchase. They are donating the money to a conservation organization to help the wildlife.
