We're going on a 3 day land 4 day sea cruise in NOvember. Right now, I don't have the transfers but can still add them on. Should I add the transfers with DCL or stick with the Happy Limo? If we stay with tht limo, we save about $75.00 (not chump change). Any opinions??

I always use a limo, I prefer to go on my time, not DCL's. :) And I don't like waiting for the bus to fill up either. I use FL Tours because of the excellent customer service and price and there is a coupon to print out here to make it $225 for a town car or $255 for a luxury van.

Have fun whatever you decide!

THANKS!! Have you ever used happy limo? The thing I like about using a limo is the possibility of getting to port prior to the busload of people -- more time for the kids to swim before the lifeboat drill. Any idea how early we can get to the port? Thanks!!

Hi Farms,
No I can't say that I have. I found FL Tours and love their service, so I stuck with them.

The Port opens at 10:30 am, but you can't board the ship until they "turn it over", sometimes as early as 12:15. At that time you can go for lunch, but you can't go into your stateroom until 1:00. They have Welcome Aboard sheets at the Terminal that will tell you when and where to book Palo, make dining changes, spa treatments, etc. It is usually really crowded around that time, so I prefer to get there around 12:30 so the line has started to go in, I make my Palo ressies and spa appointments, then have lunch and by that time you can go to your stateroom.

Don't forget to put the bathing suits in your carryon because your luggage may not get there until 5. Towels are provided at the pool.

Hope that helps! :)

Souns good. So, if we set up the limo for 11:30, we should be o.k.? or should we do it later. sorry for all the questions, it's the girls birthday and I want everything to go off without a hitch:jester:

I think I may go earlier if I were you. We had a flight that arrived at 10:00am and were at the port by 11:00. By then a line had just started forming to get onto the boat (which didn't start til 12:00). We were the 10th family in line. The hour or so waiting flew from just looking around the port, getting coffee, talking to other cruisers etc.

I know you don't have to check in since you are doing the land and sea, but if the limo picks you up at 11:30, you'll get to the pier around 12:30 and there will probably be a long line.

Just my thoughts.

Have a great trip!

We used to use the DCL transfers, but we always use Happy Limo now, and we wouldn't do it any other way! It's so nice to have your own private vehicle and to set up your pick-up for whatever time you want. We usually take advantage of the grocery stop too. Happy Limo has given us excellent serivce. I'm sure you'll be pleased with them.
