Transferring to different UY

Just want to make sure I am grasping this correctly before buying another contract. If we have 1 contract for February UY and another for March UY (same home resort) - can we transfer points from the February to the March contract and use them for a February vacation the following year. I believe we'd need to bank once transfer occurs to extend the dates the points from February contract can used. Sorry, I am sure this has been answered a bunch of times

Transferred points retain the use year that they have. Thus, if you transfer any Feb 2022 points to your March 2022 use year, those Feb points will still be Feb 2022 points. They could not be used for a trip during Feb 2023 unless you first bank them (transferred points can be banked but not borrowed).

Got that part, just confirming I can bank them on the March UY contract once transferred.

The easiest for me is to not even think about where you put them…they are still the same when in another membership with a different UY.

The only difference is points can not be borrowed once transferred. But, since your travel is in February it won’t be an issue.
