transferring tickets out of app

bought tickets Feb 2020 - we're OOS so likely won't be able to use them this year. Trying to transfer them to friends who are CA residents. They were purchased through LMT, and I entered them in the app with our names. Looks like WDW allows you to transfer through MDE, but I don't see a way to do that on the DL app. friends already tried making reservations with the ticket numbers but it said they needed to unlink them first. Thanks!!

You don't need to unlink them - your friends just need to add them to their own account. It doesn't matter if they still live in yours. They can't change the names on them, but they can use them to make their reservations as they are.
