Sorry if this question has already been asked. We are doing a split stay. Will Disney transfer our luggage? Do I just ask guest services at resort #1?

We want to check-out early in the AM, in time so that we can get to rope drop. Can we just leave our luggage with guest services at check-out and ask them to transfer the bags to resort #2? Or should we check-out and then return in the afternoon to transfer them ourselves?

Thank you!

Yes, Bell Services will transfer your luggage for you. On the morning you are checking out of your first resort, inform Bell Services you are checking out and will be moving to another resort. They will come pick up your luggage and transfer it to your new resort. Just be aware that these transfers don't happen until early afternoon. I would be prepared and expect to be without your luggage until 3 or 4PM.

My experience has been that they will take your luggage from your room in the first resort but won't deliver it until you call them from the room at the second resort. They can't just leave it in your new room because you have to sign a form that it all made it there. Which for us, it didn't. They misplaced 2 bags but found them later that evening.

On our most recent stay there were just two of us, so we took our luggage down to bell services at the Boardwalk rather than wait for someone to come get it. When we checked in at AKV later that day they sent someone to the room with our luggage. They wanted someone to be in the room to receive it. It was all there, no problems, easy peasy. :goodvibes
