Transferring borrowed points?

Hello
Can you transfer borrowed points? I’m interested in getting 14 riviera points transferred to me. The person who can transfer them, only has 13 in their current UY. They are willing to borrow one extra point to transfer all 14, but I’m not sure if that is allowed. Does anyone know?

I do not believe you can transfer borrowed or banked points.

Sadly I found out that I could not transfer borrowed points to my friend. It would have made our upcoming trip a bit smoother!

You can bank transferred points. Depending on use year and timing, you might be able to get one from the current year and 13 from next year, then bank the one to use for your trip.

My friend and I have March UY. She had no points in 2023. I do. Could I have transferred here 23 ‘23 UY points and then she banked those for our January 2023 stay?

The MS person we had did not suggest that. We were on a three way call and she said there was nothing we could do. Was she wrong?

March 2023 23 UY points would not be eligible for use for a January 2023 trip unless they were borrowed, and that is not allowed, since the Upcoming trip is in your March 2022 UY.
