Transferred points

Sorry I should know this but if I transfer current year points to another member that expire 7/31/04, will the receiver be able to bank these points even if I can't? I'll be past the 6 months and will have already banked 50% - this would be for the other 50%.

technically, those points should retain your Use Year and be on your banking schedule.
so officially, no, they can't bank all of them. it's possible that they could bank 50% of what you transfer to them though...

however, what MS will allow them to do is another thing. i think basically there are no guarantees.
it's best to assume that they can't bank them.
also, i bet this is one of those things where different MS people will give you different answers. *sigh*
