Okay, I've never seen this addressed. As most of you know, points transferred into your account do not show up on your online account. But you can make reservations with them by phone. When trying to make a reservation for a coveted date right at the 7 month window, being able to make the reservation online at 8:00 am EST vs. being able to make the reservation at 9:00 am EST over the phone makes all the difference in the world.
With this in mind, does anyone know what happens to points when you make a reservation with transferred points and then shortly thereafter cancel that reservation. Do those points then go back into the transferred point account where you still cannot access them online or do they perhaps then become a part of your online accessible points, whereby you could then access their use online?
Complicated, I know. But does anyone have any experience in this?
