Transferred points - can these be banked?

I have points that I got from another DVC member, and had them transferred into my account. Now we didn't wind up using all of them. I have 31 of their points (he had a June 07 use year) and 34 of my own points (Spet 07 use year) left. Do I need to use the 31 transferred points before June 08? Or can they be banked into the next year?

Yes, transferred points may be banked into the next Use Year.

Banked points cannot be transferred, but transferred points may be banked.

Not only can they be banked but the usual rules of timing and percentages generally don't apply at all.
