Transferred points and banking

My DS recently joined DVC and, after making her plans, she has points she can't use. We thought about tranferring the points ot me but I can't use them until Dec 2010. I'm hoping you all can help me understand if this will work.

DS has a Feb use year so these points expire at the end of January 2010. If she transfers them to me (I have an August use year) can I then bank them to use on my Dec 2010 trip?

Feb 09 points if transferred to you can then be banked into Feb 10 use year which can then be used for Dec 10 trip (your use year does not control the issue)

Transfered points retain their UY and home resort status. Transfered points can be banked but banked points can not be transfered.
