Transfering Pts, HELP

We have one membership number and four contracts. I wanted to trade out my BLT pts for SSR pts MS is telling me that you are allowed one transaction per year. So I can either transfer out or in but not both in a given year. I thought you where allowed one transfer per contract not one per membership Does anyone know if this is correct? Thanks for any help.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding you, but it sounds like you are trying to use BLT points for a reservation at SSR. If that is the case you shouldn't need to transfer points. You can just use the BLT points at 7 months or less. Or did I miss something?

I do not understand what you mean by "trade out my BLT pts for SSR pts", either.

If you have four contracts and one membership number, then you have a Master contract with 3 add on contracts.

But MS is correct. It is per membership, which is another way of saying per Master Contract.

BLT points are always BLT points except at 7 months.

SSR points are always SSR points except at 7 months.

You can't magically change SSR to BLT or BLT to SSR from 7 to 11 months.

If you have the same UY for BLT and SSR, you only have one master contract and cannot transfer between these. If you have separate master contracts, then you can transfer between these two contracts once a year.

If you are looking to trade points with another member, you can do one transfer (in or out, not both) per Use Year per membership. You have four contracts but only one membership. The transfer limit is per UY not calendar year so you could trade out your BLT points from your 2009 UY and trade in SSR points into your 2008 UY assuming you are still in your 2008 UY and that works for your travel dates. You should be able to bank the SSR points you transfer in so you could use them in your 2009 UY as well.

SSR is probably the easiest resort to book so unless you have a timing problem (for example, you want to book SSR before you are legally allowed to use your BLT points) you could take your chances at the 7-month window at SSR.

Another option is to book reciprocal reservations with another member. They book something for you at SSR and you book something for them at BLT.
