Transfer time estimate???

Hello All,

If all went to schedule.... When would I....

If my early December Virgin flight took off from Gatwick at 12:45pm, could anyone estimate what time I could expect to arrive at the Swan? (Coach Transfer)

I would like to guess at planning the first evening and don't have a clue what with time difference, flight times, coaches etc...

I have no direct experience of travelling from Gatwick, but the Manchester flight should be comparible.

You'll probably be landing at around 5.15-5:30 if the plane is on time, then it can taken anything from 10 mins to 2 hours to clear customs, and this depends on what other aircraft have landing just before yours and how soon you get of your plane.

The first baggage reclaim will take minutes, and as long as you can carry your bags then you do not need to use the second baggage reclaim anymore, otherwise add another 30 mins on for this.

The coach transfer is a bit of an unknown, but if its using magical express then I think the most you can wait is 15-30 mins and there are a maximum of 4 drop off points per coach. So this could take about 90 mins in total.

Adding all this up gets you to arrive at the Swan between 7:00 - 9:45, but if I was to take a guest I would suggest about 7:45.

BTW All the times are based on Florida time which is 5 hours behind UK time.
